Congratulations again to the Long Beach crew! Such an intensely fun & memorable weekend, complete with hardware to reward all of our hard work. Thank you to everyone for a good time - and yes, the Circle-of-Love is an official fixture.

Speaking of San Francisco, we've received confirmation today that we will be having not one but two mixed boats for the tourney! This is great news as we will not have to fret about turning paddlers away. We now have 54 roster spots available! Please sign-up via the evite, and encourage others to do the same! New team members are of course welcome.

Practice resumes this Wednesday (8/8), and we'll be going full-blast every Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday up to the tourney.
Finally, as some of you may have heard, the entire community experienced a tragic loss this week when a young volunteer at the LB tourney passed away after an accident following the tournament. We will be dedicating the rest of our season to this individual, and we will be showing our respects at funeral precessions and pledging funds to assist with arrangements. Please keep the individual's family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts & prayers.
